Our company was founded in 1919 by Joseph P. Simons Sr. Joe began his career in the industry working for Commonwealth Edison. In 1914, he partnered with Blackwell Electric and , soon after, bought them out and began J.P. Simons & Co. The company originally sold small appliances but after the industrial revolution, began distributing cable, conduit, wiring devices and hundreds of other products.
